Partner Institution(s)

The Competence Centre, together with the Chambre des salariés Luxembourg (CSL) and its adult education center, the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Centre (LLLC), have decided to collaborate on the development of the Cisco Networking Academy.

Cisco Networking Academy

The Cisco Networking Academy is an IT skills and professional development program for educational institutions and individuals around the world.

Since 1997, nearly 8 million people have joined the Cisco Networking Academy. Cisco Networking Academy offers lectures, online training materials, interactive tools, and hands-on workshops to ensure that participants gain the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a technology-driven marketplace. Our candidates and instructors appreciate the flexibility with which the different elements of a course are combined for success in their field.

Since 2022, the training programs cover the following areas:

Training path: Networks (CCNA)

Thanks to new technologies, networks are becoming more intelligent, programmable and software-driven. Networking Academy modules support this evolution and expose learners to new concepts and hands-on experiences. Best of all, courses are tied to CCNA certifications-among the most in-demand in the industry.

This training course consists of a series of 3 CCNA courses, which provide an understanding of network architectures, models, protocols and elements to support business operations and priorities, as well as the ability to make appropriate decisions to mitigate threats and improve network security using access control lists.

All courses in the 3 training paths are open for registration. You can choose the course(s) you want in the desired training path(s), taking into account the prerequisites indicated for each of them.

Nota bene:

However, if you enroll in the CCNA training path courses, it is strongly recommended that you only take this training path due to the workload involved.

Similarly, for the CyberOps Associate course and the Linux I and II course, which run concurrently, due to the workload, it is also strongly recommended that you enroll in one or the other.

Materials needed to take a course:

To take these courses, you will need a laptop with the following specifications:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5, or equivalent or higher recommended
