Some testimonials from our evening classes and DAEU students

“There’s no age limit when it comes to learning. Keeping up with change and continuing to grow is essential in the long run. The instructors are committed professionals who share their knowledge in a clear, lively and engaging way. Thanks to them, I gained confidence and now feel much more at ease speaking in public. Starting a training programme is more than acquiring knowledge—it’s an experience in itself. I wholeheartedly recommend the LLLC’s evening classes.”

“This is my fifth evening-class diploma. I encourage everyone to take part in these programmes at the LLLC, because they are a unique opportunity you won’t find anywhere else in the country. The CSL invests so that everyone can access training. The instructors love to teach, and they bring so much to the participants. Yes, it can be difficult at times, but they are there to help us. They motivate us and guide us through the exams. I want to go further. I can’t wait to see them again in class, eager to keep learning.”

“I didn’t know the LLLC, so I went there to find out what continuing education options existed. My initial studies were in a completely different field; I have a job and four children. Being able to take modular courses was crucial—it gave me the security to study at my own pace. I enrolled in the accounting assistant track, which includes five courses. Today, I’m happy and proud to have followed the programme, completed it successfully, and obtained my diploma. I’ve gained confidence, and I’m not stopping here. I’m more motivated than ever.”

“When I changed employers nearly three years ago, I needed a new challenge. That’s why I decided to take courses from the ‘Windows Server’ programme, a subject I’m particularly interested in. Combining training with enjoyment makes a real difference when you commit to something. Passing my exams gave me deep satisfaction and a sense of pride. It also strengthened my confidence with others. And I’ve signed up for more courses because I genuinely enjoy learning.”

“The courses helped me develop and improve the professional skills I use every day and introduced me to new methods. Taking the classes and earning a diploma helped me feel more at ease, more valued personally, and more recognised by others.”

“I’ve been an instructor at the LLLC for 30 years. I started with evening classes introducing Windows, the basics of office tools in Wiltz, and later taught Excel. What I find most interesting as an instructor is the chance to meet so many different learner profiles: employees who want to grow, curious citizens. These varying levels bring different challenges, all with the aim of helping students pass their exams. I’m especially glad to contribute to offering evening classes in the north of the country, so that people who live there can benefit as well.”

“I discovered the LLLC’s evening courses thanks to people who had already completed training and were very satisfied with it. What really convinced me was the wide variety of fields and diplomas on offer. The instructors are always available and highly competent, which makes learning much easier and more enjoyable. After completing the courses, new opportunities opened up for me—I even changed jobs. I’m truly happy about this experience, which opened many doors.”

“I had started a university accounting degree in France, but COVID brought everything to a halt, and picking things back up became difficult. That’s when I discovered what the LLLC offered. I was working, and the evening courses provided real flexibility. I could follow one or two classes a week while continuing my job. I wanted more hands-on training in accounting and finance to gain better opportunities in fields such as fiduciary services. The course content is thorough, and the instructors are very skilled. They even gave us extra exercises to help us progress. We were well supported.”

“A friend encouraged me to sign up for the DAEU-A. My personal goal was clear: earn my baccalaureate so I could go on to university. What struck me most over those ten months was meeting others who, like me, wanted to move forward. We worked together, supported each other, pushed beyond our limits. It wasn’t easy every day, but we held on. And on a personal level, I improved so much—I learned a great deal. Today we’re here receiving our diploma. We are proud. It’s the beginning of a new chapter.”

A few testimonials from our lecturers and students on university and specialised courses

“I enrolled in this programme to prepare for the social worker aptitude test and to meet professionals in the field. The courses were engaging and interactive, encouraging exchanges of views, questions, and shared experiences.”

“In my contribution to the Master in Technopreneurship, I try to share practical and essential tools for future entrepreneurs. The goal is to strengthen their critical thinking when facing situations that range from business strategy and product portfolios to legal and financial basics, including some GreenIT concepts.”

“After earning my Bachelor’s in Computer Science in 2020 through the Luxembourg Lifelong Learning Centre, I wanted to continue studying and enrolled in the Master in Technopreneurship (MTECH) in 2021, also offered by the LLLC.

Last year, I discovered the new Master 2 in Computer Science—specialising in Data Science, Cloud Infrastructure and Security, again at the LLLC. The programme immediately appealed to me, since Cloud and Data Science are rapidly growing and highly sought-after fields. Continuing in this direction felt natural. The choice proved to be the right one, as it allowed me to progress professionally in IT within my organisation even before completing the programme.

The courses taught by UTBM instructors are clear, dynamic and interactive. Their expertise in each subject, combined with effective teaching methods, makes understanding and retaining the material much easier.”

“The specialised programme allowed me to better understand the legislation governing Luxembourgish institutions. The instructors’ professional experiences were especially captivating, giving us a concrete view of daily realities.”

“In the Bachelor of Technology – Energy Transition and Energy Efficiency, I aim to pass on practical, indispensable tools to future mid-level professionals who want to take an active role in the energy sector. My goal is to prepare them to analyse and respond critically to issues linked to energy production, distribution and use.

We explore essential topics such as climate engineering, renewable energies and district heating networks—all central challenges in a world where energy and environmental issues shape our future. The combination of theoretical teaching and hands-on practice allows students to better understand situations they have already encountered in their professional lives and prepare for new ones. By the end, each student will be able to design, optimise and operate installations. I’m convinced that this blend of theory and practice will help develop professionals ready to take on today’s energy challenges.”

“A rewarding training because it was focused on practical work. In a short time, we understood the essentials needed to strengthen our competencies or start out in IT Support. From IT tools and their networking to ensuring secure communication, it was truly a pleasure to learn.”

“Completing the IT Essentials+ training through Cisco and Chambre des salariés Luxembourg with ADEM was a transformative experience. It not only deepened my understanding of IT systems, networking, and cybersecurity but also ignited my passion for solving real-world technical challenges. This training has equipped me with the practical skills and confidence to boldly step into the fast-evolving world of cybersecurity.”
