Anyone wishing to develop the know-how to monitor, detect and respond to cybersecurity threats (professional approach to the new security trends and preparation for CCNA - Cybersecurity Ops Certification)
Objectives
- Install virtual machines to create a safe environment for implementing and
analysing cybersecurity threat events.
- Explain the Windows and the Linux Operating System features and
characteristics needed to support cybersecurity analyses.
- Monitor, detect and respond to cybersecurity threats.
- Covers cryptography, host-based security analysis, security monitoring
computer forensics, attack methods and incident reporting and handling.
- Deepen knowledge in detecting and respond to security incidents.
- Identify, classify, analyse the impact by using network monitoring tools s
against network protocols and services.
- Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills using real equipment
and Cisco Packet Tracer.
Prerequisites
Successful completion of the module “Cybersecurity essentials” (C1530) or proof equivalent certified knowledge. Recommended knowledge and skills: in Basic Windows and Linux system concepts; Basic Networking concepts; Binary and Hexadecimal understanding; Awareness of basic programming concepts; Awareness of basic SQL queries
