Public cible

Anyone wishing to learn how to configure and troubleshoot routers and switches for advanced functionality using security best practices and resolve common issues with protocols in both IPv4 and IPv6 networks.

Objectives

  • Configure VLANs and Inter-VLAN routing applying security best practices and troubleshoot inter-VLAN routing on Layer 3 devices.
  • Configure redundancy on a switched network using STP and EtherChannel.
  • Troubleshoot EtherChannel on switched networks.
  • Explain how to support available and reliable networks using dynamic addressing and first-hop redundancy protocols.
  • Configure dynamic address allocation in IPv6 networks.
  • Configure WLANs using a WLC and L2 security best practices.
  • Configure switch security to mitigate LAN attacks.
  • Configure IPv4 and IPv6 staic routing on routers.

Prerequisites

Successful completion of the module «  CCNA 7 - introduction to Networks Course Resources » (CI1500E) or proof of equivalent certified knowledge.

Notes

Monday evenings from 18:00 - 20:00 (Theory) and Saturday mornings from 08:00 - 12:00 (Labs) or Monday evenings from 18:00 - 21:00 (Theory) and Thursday evenings 18:00 - 21:00 (Labs). Blended Learning : 60 hours face-to-face lessons and 10 hours distance learning. No reduced price for unemployment possible.
