Cisco Networking Academy – Free online courses

As an official Cisco Networking Academy, the LLLC offers a selection of free, fully online self-paced courses through the NetAcad platform.

These courses complement the LLLC’s broader Cisco Networking Academy training offer, which includes in-person daytime and evening courses as well as learning pathways ranging from beginner to advanced level.

The free online courses are open to anyone wishing to develop their skills, regardless of their educational background, professional experience or current employment situation. No prior knowledge is required. This flexible learning format removes time and location barriers, with access available 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the access period.

Enrolment and access periods

Courses are available from 15 September to 15 December and from 15 January to 15 July.

How to enrol

Enrolment is free and takes place directly on the NetAcad platform:

  1. Click on the title of the self-paced course you wish to take.
  2. Click the green “Get Started” button.
  3. If you already have an account, select “Log in”.
  4. If you do not yet have an account, click “Sign up” and follow the instructions.

Digital badges and recognition

On completing certain courses, participants may earn a digital badge recognising the skills they have developed. The badge can be shared on professional networks, including LinkedIn, to showcase learning achievements and strengthen professional visibility.
