Professional of the financial sector and investment funds - Level I
This training profile is aimed at people working in financial services, accountants in companies and institutions, citizens and consumers of financial products or people undergoing professional retraining.
It extends over approximately 158 hours :
- Learn about financial market instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives, UCIs and hedge funds) ;
- Understand the regulatory environment for undertakings for collective investment (UCIs and AIFs) and distinguish between the players involved ;
- Be familiar with the different types of structured products, understand how they are used in practice, know how to assess their risks and how to account for them ;
- Use financial mathematics to solve basic financial problems ;
- Decrypt and analyse information relating to the financial sector (e.g. CSSF and ABBL publications, etc.) ;
- Understand the regulatory environment for combating money laundering and the financing of terrorism ;
- Understand the compliance practices applicable to the main players in the financial sector (UCIs, PFS, management companies).
The candidate who wishes to obtain the diploma "Professional of the financial sector and investment funds - Level I" must pass 6 modules: the 5 compulsory modules of the profile as well as 1 other that can freely be choose in all domains.
