C1624 - AI Agents Programming for Developers

Target audience

Anyone wishing to design and develop modern AI-powered agents and intelligent applications. Anyone responsible for building AI integrations, automation systems, or AI-enhanced software solutions. Anyone working as a software engineer, backend developer, frontend developer, data engineer, or technically skilled professional interested in implementing AI in real-world applications.

Objectives

  • Understand the architecture and capabilities of modern AI agents and the generative AI ecosystem.
  • Work with Large Language Model APIs, prompts, parameters, and structured outputs.
  • Apply advanced prompt engineering techniques, including function calling and JSON schemas.
  • Design and implement AI agents capable of using external tools, APIs, and services.
  • Build memory systems using embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Create multi-agent systems and collaboration patterns between autonomous agents.
  • Evaluate, debug, optimize, and improve the reliability and performance of AI applications.

Prerequisites

Basic programming experience in Python or JavaScript (Node.js). Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON data structures. Basic understanding of software development concepts such as functions, modules, and debugging. Optional but recommended: experience with TypeScript, Git, or command-line tools.

Notes

Participants can use their own laptop with internet access. Practical exercises may require access to development tools, code editors, API platforms, and AI service providers.
