How to effectively initiate this digital transition for employees

It is through a culture of continuous learning based on the development of new digital skills that employees will be able to meet the challenges of digitalization, and more specifically through upskilling or reskilling.

Upskilling consists of reinforcing an employee’s current skills so that he or she can evolve in his or her position or face changes in his or her field of activity.

And Reskilling is the acquisition of new skills in the context of a change of profession, a career evolution or a broadening of the field of activity.

Seven training paths are offered on topics at the heart of the needs of business professionals in terms of digitalization.

All of these training courses begin with modules that allow students to acquire the fundamental basics. For example, the module that deals with the basics of computer science, which is fundamental for accessing any entry-level computer job.

Then, the level of skills to be developed in order to become an expert in a field is increased.

Networks Training path (CCNA)

With the rise of new technologies, networks are becoming smarter, more programmable, and more software-driven.

Consisting of a series of four modules, this training path is designed to enable learners to understand network architectures, models, protocols, and elements to support business operations and priorities. They will then be able to make appropriate decisions to mitigate threats and improve network security using access control lists.

Cybersecurity Training Path

Information security is an ongoing concern for companies, customers, providers and even individuals.

Cybersecurity issues are on everyone’s mind and require processes to be in place to know how to protect themselves against hackers. Hackers are stepping up their efforts to break into companies, especially nowadays with telecommuting and nomadism.

With this training path consisting of a series of five modules, cybersecurity beginners learn how to protect themselves from online and social networks cyberattacks in an increasingly hyperconnected world. And more experienced individuals gain the skills needed to secure and protect their company’s networks from outside attacks so that a single security breach does not have disastrous consequences.

Linux Training path

One of the best-known examples of an open-source operating system, Linux has been widely used in enterprise servers, data centers, and mobile devices.

This four-module training path takes beginners through the basics of Linux to interact with the Linux virtual machine.

And for future system administrators or programmers, intermediate to advanced modules are developed, including maintenance tasks using command lines, installing and configuring Linux computers, and implementing network functions with Linux virtual machines.

Cloud training path for people who work in the management field

This training path is designed to enable people working in management to learn how to manage cloud computing and its services in a way that is applicable to their daily work.

With a total of six modules, this training path begins with modules for beginners to learn the best practices to properly protect themselves online from cyber-attacks.

After ensuring learners have the right basics, the course continues at a more experienced level with learning theoretical and practical technical knowledge to ensure a safe, efficient and secure cloud environment.

Learners also learn how to manage potential incidents by being part of the solution to get the most out of cloud technology decisions.

This enables all staff members, not just IT staff, to make informed and sound decisions.

Cloud training path for people who work in the operational field

Focused on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services, this training path is composed of five modules.

The first module covers the basics of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, providing an overview of what cloud computing is and how to improve productivity, facilitate collaboration and optimize communications in the cloud.

Learning about Cloud Computing continues with its administration by implementing, managing and securing identity, user access to your organization’s resources, governance, storage, compute and virtual networks.

The course concludes by learning how to maintain an organization’s security posture and how to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities.

Devnet Training Path

This four-module training path focuses on learning the architectures, models, protocols, and network elements that connect users, devices, applications, and data through the Internet and modern computer networks-including IP addressing and Ethernet fundamentals.

This overview of the work environment then allows students to learn the Python programming language for working in software development workstations, ….

The DevOps module takes software development a step further. Learning focuses on safely interacting with application programming interfaces (APIs) to automate existing manual processes with only a few lines of code.

This training path provides the skills needed to work in the field of software development and infrastructure automation.

Programming training path

Learning programming through the use of Javascript and Python programming languages is necessary to develop programming best practices, know coding concepts, … but also to be able to debug and troubleshoot computing environments.

Programming skills open up careers in almost every industry and are necessary for more advanced positions in software development and engineering.

All of these training paths are accessible to beginners, who can take all the modules in a training path to obtain a professional certification that is recognized in the professional world.

They are also accessible to professionals in the above-mentioned fields who wish to deepen their skills or acquire new ones. Those who already have basic knowledge and a little more in computer science and in certain fields, can join the courses from the intermediate or advanced modules. An entrance test or proof of having passed the previous modules or modules with equivalent skills is required to access the selected module.

These training paths are delivered by Microsoft, Cisco and CompTIA certified trainers.

They are delivered in a blended learning format and allow the development of skills sought after in the industry through face-to-face courses in a lab equipped with servers, routers, cabling, laptops, etc. as well as online courses and labs including virtualization and network simulation tools.

It is then possible to maximize the learning of theoretical concepts by applying them directly to real situations.
