Linux Infrastructure Specialist
Target audience:
The aim of this training path is to provide participants with both foundational knowledge and practical Linux administration skills, regardless of prior experience. It helps individuals transition into Linux roles through a hands-on approach while enabling IT professionals to strengthen their operational capabilities across system administration, cloud computing, cybersecurity, DevOps, and platform engineering.
The total course duration is 160 hours.
Learning objectives :
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux systems in enterprise environments.
- Manage Linux users, storage, networking, services, and system security.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash scripting and scheduling.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues using structured diagnostic methodologies.
- Deploy and maintain enterprise Linux services following operational best practices.
- Monitor performance, analyse logs, and implement corrective actions.
- Establish a core foundation for advanced specializations in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering.
- Prepare participants for the Linux Professional Institute Linux Essentials and LPIC-1 certifications while establishing a strong operational foundation for progressing towards LPIC-2 and advanced enterprise Linux administration.
The candidate who wishes to obtain the diploma « Linux Infrastructure Specialist » will have to successfully complete all 3 compulsory courses.
