Your report and its subsequent processing will be recorded, processed and stored securely and the confidentiality of your identity will be guaranteed as well as that of any third party mentioned in the report. CSL staff members authorised to access it for the purposes of processing the report and ensuring the technical security of the information transmitted, are bound by the professional secrecy required by their position.

Your identity will not be disclosed without your express consent to any person other than members of staff authorised to receive or track reports. This also applies to any other information from which your identity may be directly or indirectly inferred.

By way of derogation, your identity and any other information relating to your report may be disclosed as part of investigations carried out by national authorities or as part of legal proceedings. However, in this case, you will be informed before your identity is disclosed, unless such information may compromise the relevant investigations or legal proceedings concerned.

You can consult your rights regarding the protection of your personal data here.

Telephone reports will not be recorded, but an accurate record will be made of the main points of the conversation, which you can then check, correct and sign for approval.

Similarly, information reported during face-to-face meetings with the authorised person is transcribed into a report, countersigned by the person who made the report and then stored securely by the “Alert” unit.

Reports notified by email are stored in this form and recorded securely by the “Alert” unit.

An acknowledgement of receipt of your report, including its reference number, will be given to you within seven days of receipt of the report.

Your report will be followed up by the “Alert” unit, which will be your point of contact and may ask you for further information if necessary.

If you wish to add details or make corrections, you must do so by contacting the “Alert” unit, quoting the reference number allocated to your report.

Following your report, you will receive feedback within a maximum of 3 months, this period running from the acknowledgement of receipt of the report or, in the absence of acknowledgement of receipt, three months from the expiry of the seven-day period reporting period.
