Combining an early retirement pension with a salary

If you receive an early retirement pension before the age of 65, your pension may be reduced if you continue your employment.

The CSL has developed a software program that can be used to calculate the amount of your early retirement pension reduction if you combine it with a salary.

All you have to do is enter the gross monthly amount of your early retirement pension, the amount of your gross salary and the average of your five highest salaries for contributions (which you will find on the statement sent to you each year by the Joint Social Security Centre: you calculate the average of the five best annual salaries and divide it by 12).

This will automatically give you the gross amount of the reduced pension.

CSL cannot be held responsible for results that differ from those calculated by the social security authorities on the basis of the insured’s detailed insurance period.

To find out the amount of the spouse’s or partner’s survivor pension, it is sufficient to know the old-age pension or disability pension to which the deceased spouse or partner was or would have been entitled.
