Your request should be made via dataprotection@csl.lu, enclosing a copy of your identity document, which will be destroyed by CSL as soon as your request has been processed.

Right to rectification

You have the right to request that any data regarding you that is inaccurate be rectified.

Your request should be made via dataprotection@csl.lu, enclosing a copy of your identity document, which will be destroyed by CSL as soon as your request has been processed.

Right to erasure

You have the right to request the deletion of your data if:

  • You consider that they are no longer necessary for the purpose(s) for which they were collected/processed
  • Data processing is based solely on your consent and you withdraw your consent
  • You are exercising your right to object in a justified manner for a reason relating to your particular situation and CSL has no compelling legitimate reason to process your data
  • You believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully by CSL
  • Your data must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation to which CSL is subject

Your request should be sent to CSL via dataprotection@csl.lu, enclosing a copy of your identity document, which will be destroyed by CSL as soon as your request has been processed.

CSL may reject your request if:

  • When CSL needs them to exercise or defend its rights in court

Right to restrict processing

You have the right to request the restriction of processing:

  • Where you dispute the accuracy of your data, or the time required to check your data
  • If you oppose the deletion of your data where it has been processed unlawfully, but request that its use be restricted
  • If CSL no longer needs your data but you require it in order to establish, exercise or defend your legal rights
  • Where you have objected to the processing on grounds relating to your particular situation, for the time necessary to verify whether the legitimate reasons pursued by CSL prevail over yours

Your request must be sent to CSL via dataprotection@csl.lu, enclosing a copy of your identity document, which will be destroyed by CSL as soon as your request has been processed.

Right to object to processing

You have the right to object to the processing of your data:

  • For reasons relating to your particular situation, unless CSL can demonstrate that it has compelling legitimate grounds for processing your data which override your interests, or if CSL needs the data in order to establish, exercise or defend its legal claims
  • When the processing is carried out for canvassing purposes by CSL

Your request must be sent to CSL via dataprotection@csl.lu, enclosing a copy of your identity document, which will be destroyed by CSL as soon as your request has been processed.

Right to withdraw your consent

Where the processing of your data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time. CSL will then cease to use your data, and it will be destroyed.

Your request must be sent to CSL via dataprotection@csl.lu, enclosing a copy of your identity document, which will be destroyed by CSL as soon as your request has been processed.

Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD). See cnpd.public.lu.

Right to portability of your data

Where the processing of your personal data is based on your consent or is necessary to execute a contract you have entered into with CSL and the processing of your data is carried out by CSL using automated processes, you have the right to receive your personal data held by CSL in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, so that you can transmit it to another data controller. You may also ask CSL to transmit your data directly to another data controller, provided that this is technically possible.

Your request must be sent to CSL via dataprotection@csl.lu, enclosing a copy of your identity document, which will be destroyed by CSL as soon as your request has been processed.
