What is a workplace?

Workplace means all places in the buildings of an enterprise or establishment where work is carried out, including outdoor areas of the enterprise or establishment to which workers have access in the course of their work.

Thus a loading ramp, storage areas, rest room, wardrobe are to be considered as workplaces.

For these workplaces, minimum Health and Safety requirements must be applied.
